Anna Sandberg has done her part in Damallsvenskan and Häcken. Now a new adventure awaits in a new club, and not just any club.
The national team player is clear for Manchester United, confirms Häcken in a press release.
"I'm very happy and grateful to sign with this big club, I hope to be able to help the team with my qualities and give our fantastic supporters more wins", says Sandberg to Manchester United's website.
Thus, the left-back leaves Häcken after two years in the yellow and black jersey.
"It's hard to summarize what BK Häcken means to me in just a few lines, but from the first moment I came to this fantastic club, it's directly felt like home. It's been two wonderful years and I've enjoyed every second", she says in a press release.
Sandberg has been credited with six goals and eleven assists in Häcken.
The new contract with Manchester United is written until the summer of 2027 with an option for an additional year.
