In the thick fog, the driver lost control of the bus, which was full of tourists and on its way to the ancient city of Machu Picchu in Peru. The bus fell from the winding road down a 15-meter high slope. About 30 tourists were seriously injured.
Most of them are hospitalized in nearby Cusco, according to the police. Among the tourists are Italians, Japanese, Chileans, and Guatemalans.
