Thrown fishballs and tennis balls onto the pitch stopped the football match between Rosenborg and Lillestrøm in the Norwegian top league on Sunday. This was a protest against the video referee system VAR.
Now, Rosenborg's chairman Cecilie Gotaas Johnsen wants the supporters to be punished for the incident at the Lerkendal arena.

It's okay that they feel frustrated about the VAR issue, but it doesn't belong on Lerkendal to sabotage a match. In the VAR debate, everyone must follow the democratic rules, says Gotaas Johnsen.
