The chairman of the Colombian Football Association, Ramón Jesurún, has been released by American police after the brawl following the final of Copa América.
After the final of the South American Championship, between Argentina and Colombia, Ramón Jesurún was arrested, accused of three cases of gross assault on an official.
But now the Colombian chairman is being released, on bail of 2,000 dollars, equivalent to approximately 21,000 kronor.
The incident is said to have occurred when several guards refused to let the chairman and his family onto the plane after the match. A brawl then broke out and Jesurún and his son were arrested, writes the Colombian newspaper El Tiempo.
I was accredited, but the guard still didn't let me in, said Jesurún, pointing to his accreditation badge.

Before the match, there was also chaos outside, when several supporters tried to get into the arena without a ticket. The police in Miami, where the Copa América final was played, arrested 27 people and removed 55 people, according to local police authorities.
