After several months of uncertainty, it is now clear. TV4 is extending the rights to broadcast Serie A and will broadcast the Italian top league for two more seasons.

"We are very happy to be able to continue showing world-class football from Serie A starting from tomorrow's premiere (Saturday)", says Johan Cederqvist, sports director at TV4 in a press release.

After last season, TV4's rights to the Champions League and Serie A expired. The Champions League was quickly snapped up by Viaplay, but Serie A has since been without a broadcasting company in Sweden.

It is now clear that the league will remain on TV4's channels for two more seasons. With only one day until the premiere.

On Saturday, four matches will be played. First, Genoa–Inter and Parma–Fiorentina at 18.30, and then Milan–Torino and Empoli–Monza at 20.45.

Saturday: Genoa–Inter, Parma–Fiorentina (both 18.30). Milan–Torino, Empoli–Monza (both 20.45).

Sunday: Hellas Verona–Napoli, Bologna–Udinese (both 18.30). Cagliari–Roma, Lazio–Venezia (both 20.45).

Monday: Lecce–Atalanta (18.30). Juventus–Como (20.45).
