On Saturday, Algerian Djamel Sedjati won an Olympic Games bronze medal on 800 meters. Two days earlier, French police conducted a doping raid on his residence in the Olympic Village in Paris. This according to information from the French newspaper L'Équipe.
Sedjati's coach Amar Benida is also subject to the investigation, the newspaper writes.
The Olympic Games organizer has chosen not to comment on the information to L'Équipe.
