The Swedish pole vaulter Armand Duplantis against the Norwegian hurdler Karsten Warholm on 100 meters. It becomes reality in connection with the Diamond League gala in Zurich on September 5, writes Aftonbladet.
Duplantis himself says to the newspaper:
I'm super excited. I've rarely looked forward to a competition as much.
That the two have wanted to compete against each other has long been a rumor.
What attracts most in sports is the unknown. I think it can be great entertainment, said Duplantis to TT in March.
But first and foremost, the Olympic Games in Paris await, where both are reigning champions: Duplantis in pole vault and Warholm in 400 meters hurdles.
