16 out of 20 education providers, such as folk high schools and Komvux, are deficient in their work. This is shown by a new report from the School Inspectorate.

The most common deficiency concerns sloppiness with information about who set the grades, which course and for whom the grade applies.

In three cases, for example, grades were set by a teacher who did not teach the actual course. The Inspectorate has also seen that the wrong grading scale was used.

"At some of the providers, the deficiencies are both numerous and extensive. In some cases, the nature of the deficiencies raises questions about the legal certainty", writes the School Inspectorate in the report.

On the other hand, no deficiencies were found regarding national tests.

The report is part of a government assignment to be presented later this autumn. A total of 82 education providers were assessed as active before the selection for the report was narrowed down to the 20 presented.
