Lucas Bergvall has made an early impact in the Tottenham jersey. The former Brommapojkarna and Djurgården midfielder has received plenty of playing time during the preseason and even got to come on in the Premier League premiere against Leicester on Monday, a match that ended 1–1.
Bergvall's popularity has also made him a target on X, formerly Twitter. The 18-year-old, however, does not have an account on the platform, but there are accounts pretending to be his own. Tottenham is now going out on its official account on X and says that they are working with the platform to get the fake accounts removed.
According to Tottenham, there are several accounts pretending to be players, but the club specifically mentions Bergvall and Croatian Luka Vuskovic as particularly affected.
