He threatens or bribes the lawyers in Serbia so they don't show up at the court hearings, which means they get postponed all the time, says prosecutor Johanna Kolga to the newspaper.

The man, who is in his 40s, was arrested in the fall of 2023 and is linked to several Foxtrot-related drug busts in recent years. A new hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, but again the man's lawyer failed to appear.

The fact that he has not been extradited within the deadline is a major setback for the Swedish investigation and for international relations. The investigation is solid and the evidence against him is very strong in Sweden, so if he just comes here, I expect to be able to bring charges, says Kolga.

She calls Serbia "totally incompetent" when it comes to informing about the process.

He has enormous violent capital and enormous financial resources. He has controlled much of the drug market and arms market in Sweden. He has ensured that drugs and weapons have entered Sweden and led to shootings, and has been able to finance this structure.
