+ After the Olympic gold – Sjöström competes again
Sarah Sjöström shocked everyone – including herself – and won the Olympic gold in the 100m freestyle. Now it's time for her main event at the championship, the 50m freestyle. She was the underdog in the 100m event – but that won't be the case when it's time for the half-distance.
I'm going into the 50m freestyle with a different mindset, where I'm the favorite. But I've got the best to come, I love the 50m freestyle, she said earlier to TT.
Both the heats and semifinals will be swum on Saturday, and the final will be decided on Sunday.

Finally, it's time for Swedish superstar and gold favorite Armand Duplantis to enter the Olympic arena. The pole vault qualifying will take place in the morning, and the reigning Olympic champion should, unless something dramatic happens, have no problem making it to Monday's final.
+ The dressage team chases Olympic medals
It's time for the team final, Grand Prix Special, in Olympic dressage. Ten teams have qualified for the final – and Sweden, with Patrik Kittel (Touchdown), Therese Nilshagen (Dante Weltino), and Juliette Ramel (Buriel), is one of them.
Sweden was a bit behind in terms of points in the qualifying – but in the final, all teams start from scratch, and maybe they can be in the mix for Olympic medals if everything goes right for the Swedish riders.
+ Chinese sensation in Olympic final
The women's singles tennis tournament has reached the Olympic final. Zheng Qinwen, China, has made it there. She pulled off a surprise in the semifinal when she beat out world number one Iga Swiatek, Poland, in two straight sets. The Pole was the big favorite to win the tournament.
I'm so happy that I could create history for Chinese tennis. I may have already created history, but I don't want to slow down now, she said after the upset win according to AFP.
In the final, she will face Donna Vekic, Croatia.
