The classic summer weather with a variation of sun and rain persists throughout the country. However, vacationers can still expect somewhat warmer temperatures compared to last week.

During the week, the vacation weather will continue to vary across the country, with areas of rain and showers passing through. At the same time, the temperature will rise, and vacationers can expect 20-25 degrees in the southern half of the country. In the north, the temperature will be just over 20 degrees.

In the rain, it might not get more than 16-17 degrees, but it's still better than rain and 12 degrees, which we had last week, says Therese Fougman, meteorologist at SMHI.

Occasionally warmer

For those seeking summer heat, no area in the country stands out in terms of high temperatures. On Wednesday, it may occasionally get warmer in parts of Götaland, with around 25 degrees.

But it's only brief, because then a lot of rain will pass through, and we'll be back to around 20 degrees, says Therese Fougman.

No warnings

On Monday, SMHI had not issued any warnings for the coming week. However, on Wednesday afternoon and evening, larger showers will pass over the country, according to Therese Fougman.

It looks like it will be heavier rain and possibly thunderstorms in connection with that, she says.

Looking ahead to the rest of the month, SMHI's forecasts show that the classic summer weather will persist, with varied weather and temperatures between 20-25 degrees.
