Jude Bellingham is fined around 340,000 kronor for his obscene gesture after the dream goal against Slovakia.

The 21-year-old offensive midfielder is also suspended for one match – but not until after the European Championship in Germany.

On Sunday, Jude Bellingham scored a dream goal with a bicycle kick when he equalized to 1-1 for England in the 95th minute against Slovakia in Gelsenkirchen.

After the goal that took the match to extra time – where Harry Kane later scored 2-1 – the newly turned 21-year-old made an obscene gesture directed at people in the stands as a joke.

The European Football Association (Uefa) has investigated the incident as a disciplinary case during the week. On Friday, the verdict came: Bellingham is fined 30,000 euros, equivalent to around 340,000 kronor. He also receives a one-match suspension, which will take effect only after the European Championship in Germany.

Bellingham is thus available for play in Saturday evening's quarterfinal against Switzerland in Düsseldorf.

Uefa also fines the English Football Association (FA) for incidents during the round of 16. In total, the FA must pay 11,000 euros, around 125,000 kronor, for crowd-related disturbances and the use of pyrotechnics.
