Armand Duplantis' pole vault is intact after the Diamond League gala in Stockholm after another six-meter jump.

He also made three good attempts at the world record height of 6.25. But he wasn't entirely satisfied.

When Stockholm offered sun and heat, unlike last year, it was the wind that caused trouble for the pole vaulters at Stockholm Stadium.

He waited a long time before the third attempt at 6.25.

There is no other arena in the world where he would rather set a world record than Stockholm Stadium. He thinks it's a very special feeling that's hard to describe.

Duplantis improved the world record in the first outdoor competition of the season, in the Diamond League premiere in Xiamen, China, to 6.24. He has since jumped 6 meters in three competitions.

In Stockholm, he went in at 5.60 and also took the first attempt at 5.80, 5.90, and 6.00. Sam Kendrick cleared 5.90.

Now, Mondo Duplantis is waiting for the EM in Rome, where the final will take place on Sunday two weeks from now.

Corrected version: In an earlier version, the incorrect height for Duplantis' world record was stated. The correct height is 6.25. There were also inaccuracies surrounding the competition in Stockholm, which is Duplantis' fourth outdoor competition of the season.
