Volvo Cars sold over 57,400 cars worldwide in July. This represents an increase of 6 percent compared to the same period last year.

The increase is driven primarily by electric cars in Europe, writes Volvo Cars in a press release. The share of fully electric cars sold accounted for 25 percent of total sales in July. Sales of electric cars and hybrids combined grew 49 percent compared to a year ago.

So far this year, the company has sold over 445,000 cars globally, an increase of 13 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
