Inflation is being pushed downwards in Finland

Inflation in Finland – part of the euro area – falls to 1.3 per cent in June, according to new figures from the country's statistics bureau. This can be compared to 1.5 per cent in May.

The European Central Bank's inflation target is 2 per cent.

Compared to the previous month, prices in June were essentially unchanged after having fallen by 0.1 per cent on a monthly basis in May.
