1996 was the last time a Swede competed in the 100 meters at an Olympic Games. Until now, when Henrik Larsson had qualified.
But already in the trials, it came to a halt. The Swede didn't get the running going and finished seventh in his heat. The clock stopped at 10.24.

Larsson has run significantly faster and holds the Swedish record at 10.08. But at the Olympic Games, when it really mattered, it didn't work out for the Swede.
