A man has been charged with suspected crimes including manslaughter and aggravated drunk driving following an accident on Stallbackabron in Trollhättan.
The incident occurred in November last year, when the accused crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a truck. The truck then collided with another car and caught fire.
The truck driver died in connection with the accident. Two other people were lightly injured.
According to the investigation, the suspected man exceeded the speed limit and was also under the influence of a narcotic-classified substance. The man admits to drunk driving of a normal degree but denies the other crimes.
