Uno is said to be the world's best-selling card game and soon even more people will be able to play. The first Uno version adapted for the colorblind was released in 2017.
Now, toy manufacturer Mattel wants to make more of its games accessible to the colorblind, writes toybook.com.
New games that will be available in versions accessible to the colorblind include, among others, the board game Blokus and the card game Skip-Bo.
And new versions of Uno will, in addition to having symbols on the cards that make them possible to distinguish from each other even if you can't distinguish between colors, have special patterns for tactile clues.
Uno was created in 1971 by barber Merle Robbins. It is inspired by the card game Crazy eights – a relative of the Swedish game vändåtta.
