Henrik Harlaut took a break from the national team and the World Cup after the 2022 Olympic bronze. But now, 18 months later, the freestyle star is back. The 32-year-old is back in the national team for the 2024-25 season, announces the Swedish Ski Association.

Harlaut is not only back in the national team for the World Cup next season, but he also announces through the association that he is aiming for the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan/Cortina.

The Swede has several heavy merits throughout his career. Above all, the successes have come under the prestigious X Games. In total, it has resulted in eight gold and four silver medals in different disciplines.

He has been most successful in the big air discipline, where six of the eight gold medals have been won. It was also in big air that the Swede took the Olympic bronze in 2022.

The association also announces that Oscar Wester takes over as the new national team captain for the freestyle skiing team.
