Manchester United is flexing its muscles on the transfer market.

On Thursday, the club presented the giant talent Leny Yoro – and thus snatched the 18-year-old from Real Madrid.

The price tag is said to be 70 million euros.

Earlier this summer, Manchester United recruited Bologna's highly sought-after striker Joshua Zirkzee. Now the club has made another prestigious signing.

The 18-year-old super talent Leny Yoro has been rumored to all possible big clubs after his breakthrough season in French Lille. Above all, Real Madrid, which has long been the hottest track for the center-back.

But during the summer, Manchester United has entered the game seriously, and now it's clear that it will be the PL giant that lands Yoro.

Costs over 700 million kronor

The price tag is said to be 52 million pounds, equivalent to over 714 million kronor, according to The Athletic, which also writes that with bonuses included, the sum can rise by another 97 million kronor.

"I know about the club's experience of developing young players, and feel that this is the perfect place for me to reach my potential," says Yoro to the club's website.

The rival also recruits

Even local rival Manchester City has been active on the market on Thursday. Earlier on Thursday, the Brazilian Savinho was presented, after making a success on loan from Troyes in Spanish Girona.

"Everyone knows that it's the world's best team right now, so getting to be here is incredibly exciting," says Savinho to the club's website.

Manchester City, Troyes, and Girona are all owned or co-owned by the multi-club consortium City Football Group, which makes the transfer natural for all parties.

According to the news agency AP, the Brazilian is said to have cost 40 million euros, equivalent to over 461 million kronor.
