Rotating Malmö won: "A tiny little hair"

A rotating Malmö FF turned around and won against visiting Norrköping – but who actually scored the decisive 2–1 goal? It's possible that Botheim was on it, says Lasse Berg Johnsen to Max. In Värnamo, Hammarby won after a dream start.

It was a Malmö that made significant changes to the team since the Champions League qualifying match earlier in the week – eight changes in the starting lineup compared to the winning match against Greek Paok.

A winning move for the Allsvenskan league leader in Saturday's football match against Norrköping, it would prove to be.

We do enough to win this match fairly, says Henrik Rydström.

Dominated the match

Malmö had great game dominance, but despite this, it was Norrköping that took the lead, through Isak Sigurgeirsson who, with just over 20 minutes of play, scored 1–0.

The visitors' joy was, however, not long-lasting. The equalizer, through Anders Christiansen, came just ten minutes later, and 1–1 stood until halftime.

Despite Malmö continuing to press hard, it took until the 78th minute before the home team managed to turn the match around. The 2–1 goal was the last of the match.

Question marks around the goal scorer

However, there were question marks about who actually became the goal scorer. Shooter Lasse Berg Johnsen was announced as the goal scorer over the loudspeakers, but Erik Botheim clearly gestured that he was on the ball with his head before it went into the goal.

The two Norwegians tried to clear up the matter in the Max broadcast after the match.

It's possible that Botheim was on it. He deserves a goal, says Berg Johnsen.

I felt that I had a tiny hair on it, so I'd like to have that goal, says Botheim.

MFF meets Sparta Prague in the Champions League playoff on Wednesday. The return match in the Czech Republic is played the following week.

In Värnamo, Hammarby got a dream start to the match. Already after 75 seconds, Jusef Erabi scored 1–0 for "Bajen". Bazoumana Touré could extend to 2–0 in the second half – and in the final minutes, Oscar Johansson set the final score at 3–0.

The meeting between Göteborg and Sirius ended 1–1. Even the bottom meeting between Västerås and Kalmar looked set to end in a draw, but in the 97th minute, Västerås' Simon Johansson became the big hero when he scored 2–1.

Correction: In an earlier version, the wrong day was stated for when MFF meets Sparta Prague in the playoff.
