The defence company Saab has received an order for the mobile air defence system Mobile Short Range Air Defence, the company announces in a press release.
The order is valued at approximately 1.3 billion Swedish kronor and comes from the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence.
The order is part of a framework agreement between Saab, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and the Lithuanian defence procurement agency.
"Our ability to develop both radar and fire units as well as command and control systems means that we can offer the most modern and effective air defence solution available on the market," says Görgen Johansson, head of Saab's Dynamics business area, in the press release.
Deliveries are planned for the period 2025-2027.
