The engineering company Sandvik reports a profit before tax of 5.1 billion kronor for the second quarter of the year. This can be compared to 5.4 billion during the second quarter last year.
Revenues fell to 31.4 billion from 32.2 billion. Order intake increased to 32.3 billion, from 31.7 billion.
The operating profit for the second quarter of 5.6 billion was slightly below the expected 5.8 billion, according to Bloomberg.
