A SAS plane has collided with a bird in the air and has been forced to turn back to Arlanda, writes Aftonbladet. The plane was on its way to Ängelholm.

"The plane turned back to Arlanda for inspection", says SAS press chief Irena Busic, to the newspaper.

The plane has 70 passengers on board, and is expected to be 1.5 hours delayed, according to Irena Busic. According to Aftonbladet, the artist Samir Badran was one of the passengers on the plane and due to the incident, he will not be performing at the concert in Båstad that he was on his way to. However, his companion Viktor Frisk, who was also on the plane, will do so.

The aircraft has not suffered any damage and will fly to Ängelholm as soon as it has refueled. The accident occurred on Sunday afternoon. No injuries have been reported.
