Now, major bank SEB is also lowering its mortgage rates. The variable list rate is being lowered by 0.15 percentage points to 5.59 percent. The one-year rate is being lowered by 0.25 percentage points to 4.29 percent.
The two-year rate is being lowered the most, by 0.30 percentage points. It is now at 3.89 percent.
Over the past week, a number of banks have lowered the rates on their mortgages.
