Emil Forsberg and Gustaf Nilsson will start in tonight's match against Serbia at Friends Arena.

This means that Alexander Isak will start on the bench.

Head coach Jon Dahl Tomasson explains the decision by saying that Isak has had a long and injury-plagued season.

"We're trying to give him a bit less load today and hope to be able to substitute him in the second half. And now Gustaf Nilsson gets the chance from the start and I hope he takes it," Tomasson says to the federation's website.

Simon Olsson will have to sit aside and Emil Forsberg will instead take a central midfield position.

This is the two changes made from the team that started in the 1-2 loss to Denmark on Wednesday.

"It will be fun to see Emil play centrally, that's where I think he'll play and it could be valuable for us in upcoming matches," says Jon Dahl Tomasson.

Starting lineup: 1 Robin Olsen – 2 Emil Krafth, 4 Isak Hien, 3 Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, 8 Jens Cajuste – 21 Dejan Kulusevski, 14 Anton Salétros, 10 Emil Forsberg – 16 Niclas Eliasson, 24 Gustaf Nilsson, 11 Anthony Elanga.

Substitutes: 12 Viktor Johansson, 23 Kristoffer Nordfeldt – 5 Matteo Perez Vinlöf, 6 Ludwig Augustinsson, 7 Emil Holm, 9 Alexander Isak, 15 Carl Starfelt, 17 Williot Swedberg, 18 Yasin Ayari, 19 Sebastian Nanasi, 20 Hugo Larsson, 22 Daniel Svensson, 25 Samuel Dahl, 26 Simon Olsson.

This is what Tomasson emphasizes before the match against Serbia, which opens the EM finals in Germany next weekend:

"We want to play with a good balance, when we lose the ball we want to have more players in the right positions and we don't want to give away unnecessary set pieces, like we did against Denmark. We know that Serbia is good at set pieces and we don't have the tallest team today. That's something we need to handle."

"We also want to see attacking football with few touches, with passes forward, and we need to make runs deep. We have good speed forward and smart players who can distribute the balls correctly."

The match against Serbia kicks off at 18:00.
