The English national team will pay tribute to Sven-Göran Eriksson when they meet Finland in the Nations League at Wembley on September 10.

This is confirmed by the CEO of the English Football Association FA, Mark Bullingham.

This is a sad day. He gave all England supporters such special memories. No one can forget the 5-1 win against Germany in Munich, says Mark Bullingham.

Svennis was the first foreigner to coach England's men's national team. He was the national team captain from 2001 to 2006.
