He is a coach in Eslöv, the club that Möregårdh normally represents. Andersson followed Möregårdh's thrilling semifinal against Hugo Calderano at home in Blomsterbergshallen together with several cheering youngsters.
We have a training camp here at the same time as the Olympic Games are on. So we've set up a big screen TV so that all the youngsters can sit and watch when Truls plays.
It's been an amazing atmosphere, he says.
"He is a role model"
The club has a habit of arranging camps at this time of year. That their big star is simultaneously achieving Olympic success, of course, adds a golden touch to the whole thing.
It's really fun to watch Truls between sessions here with all the youngsters. He is a role model and it has a ripple effect.
What has his success meant for you as a club?
It's naturally important for the club and the whole of Eslöv. It's a real hysteria, but even in table tennis Sweden, you can tell that it's really Truls fever, says Andersson.
He continues:
You can tell just by walking downtown or to the table tennis hall. It's Truls fever wherever you go. And it's not just important for Eslöv, but for the whole of table tennis Sweden.
Möregårdh originally comes from Hovmantorp in Småland but moved to Eslöv in Skåne when he was twelve years old. As his successes have grown, the club has also been able to grow.
We can see that we've been getting bigger and bigger all the time. It's clear that Truls is a contributing factor to that. He moved here as a twelve-year-old and has developed year by year, so of course, we've grown as a club.

On Sunday, the Olympic final awaits in Paris against the Chinese world number four Fan Zhendong. In the hall in Eslöv, the big screen will be rolled out again – and now the club is inviting the general public.
It seems like there will be an extremely large crowd. It will probably be packed in Blomsterbergshallen.
At the same time, it will also be possible to follow golfer Ludvig Åberg, born in Eslöv, who is playing his final round in the Olympic Games.

It's a really tough match for Truls. But he surprises time and time again, so it wouldn't surprise me… I naturally believe in Truls, says Peter Andersson.
