The actor James B Sikking, best known for his role as the pipe-smoking commissioner Howard Hunter in the TV series "Hill Street Blues" which was broadcast 1981-1987, has died, reports Variety.
He passed away in his home in Los Angeles due to a dementia disease.
James B Sikking was 90 years old.
