Sunday's derby between Djurgården and AIK at Tele2 Arena was interrupted in the second half after fireworks were fired from the home crowd. Items were also thrown onto the pitch from the stands during the match.

A development that the Swedish Football Association (SvFF) is not satisfied with.

"We saw expressions and behavior that do not belong in our football environments, elements we strongly dissociate ourselves from. We have great understanding for the many negative reactions we have received after the match," says Andrea Möllerberg, SvFF's general secretary, in a statement.

SvFF describes the match as a setback for the improvements that have taken place regarding the order situation on the Allsvenskan stands during the season, and writes that Sunday's events "do not align with what Swedish football stands for".

"We are constantly working to create safe match environments, for both players, leaders, referees, and supporters. This requires respect, which was lacking in several areas during Sunday's derby," says Andrea Möllerberg.
