The Swedish women's handball team won the last group stage match in the Olympic Games against Slovenia with 27–23.
The Slovenians came out strong and led for most of the first half. But after Evelina Eriksson stepped into the Swedish goal in the break, the Swedes turned the tables and had the upper hand in the second half.

The Swedish women's handball team has already secured a quarterfinal spot on Monday, but now there's a chance to become group winners if Germany steals points from Norway.
Later tonight, it will be decided which team Sweden will face in the quarterfinal. If the matches end as expected, the Swedes will likely finish second in the group and face Hungary, who are third in the other group.
