In Sweden, the election will take place on a Sunday, June 9.
Who can vote in EU election To vote, you must be at least 18 years old, a Swedish citizen, and registered in Sweden or an EU citizen registered in Sweden. Swedish citizens living in Sweden are automatically registered to vote, while those living in another EU country must register to vote in that country.
EU citizens living in Sweden will receive a letter with information on how to register to vote. Voting cards will be distributed between May 20-22, and advance voting is available from May 22.
How to vote Polling stations provide both party-specific and blank ballots, where the latter can be used if the party you want to vote for lacks ballots or if you want to vote for a specific person within a party. Ballots for parties that have participated in previous EU elections and received at least 1% of the votes will also be available at the polling stations."
