In summary, the police who worked on the scene think that the festival was overall carried out very well. The weather and visitor numbers have also undoubtedly contributed to the good festival atmosphere that has been present over the past few days.

Summary of the police's work with Wheels, Umeå:

Overall, Wheels have rolled along well without major violent crimes or major incidents. Some traffic disruptions have occurred in connection with cruising, but the disruptions have been in line with what the police expected.

The disruptions in traffic have mainly affected local traffic. A major cause of this is that cars choose to pass through red lights when they turn yellow. This means that cars have become stuck at the intersection of Skolgatan/Östra kyrkogatan and the buses cannot get through despite having a green light. Even on old E4 between MAX and Skolgatan, bus drivers have reported poor traffic conditions.

Patrols have directed traffic in periods, both at the Östra kyrkogatan/Storgatan roundabout and at Skolgatan/Östra kyrkogatan to increase the buses' ability to move and to get the cruising to roll along.

A report and a counter-report of harassment have been made.

A case of illegal threats has been handled, where a traffic incident resulted in a person threatening and behaving disorderly. The same person appears on the dock later that night. When the person is to be removed, the person is suspected of violent resistance. The person is taken into custody according to the Law on the Taking into Custody of Drunk Persons.

A person fell into the river at the dock near Väven. The person is quickly pulled out of the water and the general public has thrown a life jacket and fetched the rescue steps. The person is pulled out of the water before the rescue service arrives. The person, who is awake and able to speak and does not have any obvious injuries, is checked by the ambulance.

During the evening and night, the level of intoxication has increased gradually to a medium to high level of intoxication during the late evening and night. The dock has been the most affected, especially in terms of intoxication levels. A handful of people have been taken into custody for intoxication.

A number of noise orders have been issued during the evening and night due to loud and disturbing music and because people have been sitting in the wrong places on cars, which has caused danger (e.g. sitting on the roof). Flying inspections of vehicles have been conducted.

After 02.30, the number of cars decreased, and with perseverance and active work from the patrols, the situation has been calm.

Police officers who have worked earlier years experienced this year's Wheels as calmer than previous years.
