Police have handled over 40 incidents between 22:00 and 07:00 in Jönköping County.

Attempted murder, Nässjö:
23:15: Police and an ambulance are called to an address in Nässjö where a person is reported to have been subjected to assault by three people. When the police arrive at the scene, the person has injuries that suggest that a sharp object was used during the assault. The assault is believed to have taken place outdoors.

The suspects are not present at the scene, but are later found during the night and apprehended by the patrols. A crime scene investigation is conducted and the three suspected men, all in their 30s, are later arrested, suspected of attempted murder.

Police have also handled, among other things, wildlife accidents and traffic controls, as well as conducted various routine checks on their own initiative or in response to public alarm calls.
