Police receive a call from a person residing in Ärentuna who reports that his car has been stolen. According to the complainant, he woke up to find the car being started.

On E4 and on the way to the address, the police meet a vehicle that matches the description. The patrol turns around and when they catch up to the vehicle, they can confirm that it is the stolen vehicle.

The police patrol initiates a stop attempt, but the driver refuses to stop and a pursuit begins in the direction of Stockholm. Near Arlanda, the car can be stopped with the help of the Stockholm police region. The driver, however, manages to run away on foot.

A report of the theft of a means of transportation is filed and the relevant vehicle is seized.
