Police receive calls from a resident of an address in Söderhamn who has seen a person on a neighbor's property. The person is believed to have arrived at the scene on a electric-assisted bicycle.

When the police arrive at the scene, the person, a man in his mid-30s, is still present. He is suspected of having attempted to steal a quad bike on the premises and is therefore arrested on suspicion of attempted theft of a means of transportation.

The police also suspect that the electric-assisted bicycle may be stolen, so the man is also suspected of theft. The electric-assisted bicycle is seized.

After a decision by the prosecutor, the man is now detained.
