The investigation is now being conducted further as a normal-grade assault, as decided by the investigating officer, following a decision. There is no longer reason to assume that the crime is a severe rape. Information that has emerged in interviews held with the injured party and witnesses during the ongoing investigation has not provided any further support for the information that formed the basis for the initial assessment. Neither have investigations in the form of crime scene investigation and examination of the seized IT material provided any further support for the suspicion of severe rape.
