Police have been alerted that something has exploded in a stairwell near Vällingby center. On the scene, material damage (walls, doors, shattered glass etc.) has been caused, but the explosion has not resulted in any personal injuries. 
The people who live in the affected stairwell have been temporarily forced to leave their homes and the police are working to investigate the stairwell. 
The incident is classified as general destruction and a crime against the law on hazardous and explosive goods.
