Man killed in traffic accident
About 22:30 on Friday evening, SOS alerts police to a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 40 in Bottnaryd outside Jönköping. A man was struck by several cars. It has since become clear that the man died as a result of the incident. Relatives have been informed of what happened. An investigation has been launched into gross negligence in traffic to investigate the accident. No one is suspected. A quad bike suspected of being involved has been seized for examination.

One to hospital after frightening knife fight
Around 02:30, a call is made to the police that someone has been stabbed in connection with a fight near a fast-food restaurant in Jönköping. At the scene, a man is lying on the ground. When the patrol arrives, two people suspected of being involved in the incident can be quickly secured. One of the men is taken away by ambulance and taken to hospital. The condition of the injured man is currently unknown. The other, a man in his 20s, is suspected of attempted gross assault and gross violation of the knife law. He was later arrested – thus, the case is being handled by the Prosecution Authority.
