Police regional command center has handled around 80 cases related to Östergötland County between 22:00 and 07:00.

Assault in Finspång
Around 03:00, an alarm is received about some kind of fight that occurred at an address in central Finspång. Two men are believed to have been involved in the fight. One of them is located by the police a short time after the incident when he left the scene. He is later arrested for assault. Exactly what happened is not entirely clear, but the other man is said to have sustained minor injuries in connection with the incident.

Rural fire
Around 03:30, SOS is alerted about a fire in a house in the countryside near Hestra in Ydre municipality. The house, which was reportedly unoccupied, burns down to the ground. No one is believed to have been injured in connection with the fire. The police have cordoned off the fire site to conduct an investigation. A report will be filed regarding arson. No one is currently suspected.

Police have also handled cases related to wildlife accidents and made various routine checks on their own initiative or in response to public alarm.
