Security Centre catches a ongoing assault at the central station with its cameras and alerts the police.

Two men assault a third at the barriers near Sergels Square. With the help of the Security Centre's and police cameras, the perpetrators can be localized to Hötorget, where they are arrested a little later.

The victim is a man in his early twenties. He is taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of the injuries is unclear, but he is awake and able to speak.

The two perpetrators are a few years older than the victim and are suspected of gross assault and serious violation of the knife law.

At present, there is nothing to suggest that a knife was used to harm the victim.

The background to the assault is unknown.
