Two motorists have collided with an elk on Road 190 Långared outside Alingsås. 
Police and Rescue Services are on the scene and working on the matter. Three people are believed to have been involved in the traffic accident. One person has become trapped in one of the vehicles, they are awake and able to speak. Rescue Services are working at the scene to get the person out.

Two people have been taken to hospital with minor injuries. One of them is the person who was cut out of the vehicle by the rescue services. Police and Rescue Services are continuing to work at the scene.
