A police patrol stopped and checked a car, which is deregistered and subject to a driving ban, in a town in Ludvika municipality.

The driver was a man in his 60s who showed signs of drug influence, which made the patrol take him in for testing and questioning. He is also suspected of reckless driving.

The man has previously had multiple convictions for serious traffic offenses and drunk driving.
