According to the informant, he has found an object on the ground that may be suspected to be dangerous. Several police patrols are sent to the location and block off a larger area around the object.

A drone (UAS) has been used to document the location. The national bomb squad is called to the location.

One of the apartments within the cordoned-off area had to be evacuated, while the remaining apartments that were deemed to be within the area were sealed off.

About 3 am, the object was destroyed by the bomb squad, which was deemed to be a hand grenade, unclear whether it was live. The people who were evacuated could return to their apartments.

A technical investigation has been conducted and the area has also been searched with a dog.

A report on attempted public destruction and violation of the law on flammable and explosive substances has been filed.
