Police have handled over 70 events between 10 PM and 7 AM in Östergötland County. No serious violent crimes or major incidents have come to the police's attention.

Alarm about explosion turned out to be a firecracker
Around midnight, on the night before Friday, several calls were received about loud bangs in the Ektorps area in Norrköping.

Several patrols are searching the property and checking several people in the area without finding anything that suggests an explosion. The assessment is that some kind of firecracker, also known as a banger, has been set off in the area.

A report of an offense against the public order act is being prepared. There is no suspect at present.

Two arrested for theft through burglary
At 11 PM on Thursday evening, a security company received a call about a burglary in a multi-story building in central Norrköping. Upon arrival, security guards find an intrusion in a basement room, and soon find two people near the location.

When the police arrive at the scene, these two people, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 40s, are arrested for theft through burglary. A crime scene investigation is conducted overnight.
