Police patrol stopped a driver in Karlstad during the day. The driver, a 50-year-old man, was checked and after investigative measures, he was arrested on the spot.

The man's identity document, which also shows authorization to operate a vehicle subject to a driver's license, is suspected of being forged. A preliminary investigation is initiated with headings using false documents and unauthorized driving.

The handling is seized and will be investigated. The man is interrogated and informed of the suspicions, with the information gathered so far having been presented to the prosecutor who decided to detain the man.
