Västerås took over the National Championship finals in bandy from Uppsala this year – and now the city has been entrusted with it for another two years.
"Västerås has proven to be a very good host city with great commitment and enthusiasm from both the audience, the city and other stakeholders", says Gisela Stockhaus, chairman of the Swedish Bandy Association.
The finals in Västerås are played at ABB Arena Syd, which is Sweden's largest indoor arena for bandy. This year, Villa Lidköping won the National Championship gold for both ladies and gentlemen, in both cases after final victories over Västerås SK.
