The biathlon elite is coming to Stockholm this season as well. It is now clear that the biathlon competition show event will take place on March 3 next year at Stockholm Stadium.
"We want to create an event for the whole family with biathlon in focus. It's also great to be able to offer the audience a chance to experience biathlon up close and not just through the TV screen", says Rikard Grip, Secretary General of the Swedish Biathlon Federation in a press release.
During the first edition of the competition at the end of February this year, it was a full house – over 10,000 spectators came to Stockholm Stadium.
The competition is run as a single mixed relay and the Norwegian duo Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen and Juni Arnekleiv won the premiere edition.
