Russian artillery attacks and air raids have killed two people in southern and northeastern Ukraine, according to Ukrainian authorities on Saturday.
In the southern parts of the Kherson region, which is largely occupied by Russia, a 60-year-old woman was killed in a village still controlled by Ukraine, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, the Ukrainian governor.
In the Kharkiv region, where Russia has carried out intense attacks since an offensive began in May, one person was killed in a bombing raid that also destroyed a school building, a shop, and residential houses.
The attacks come a day after the Moscow-installed authorities in occupied areas in Luhansk and Kherson accused Ukraine of killing at least 28 people and injuring dozens more in various drone attacks.
